Bob Marsden

  Phil Selby
Bob Marsden : Senior Pastor

Phil Selby : Curate

Our senior pastor has been with us since 1999. After finishing at University, keen cricketer Marsden hung up his pads and became a history teacher. Following training at Oak Hill and ordination, he was curate at St. Nicks, Sevenoaks and chaplain at Fettes School, Edinburgh, before joining us at Trinity.
Bob is married to Julia, his childhood sweetheart, and they have two sons, Johny and Ben.
When not preaching at the front you'll still find Bob reliving the glory days, at the crease for the local cricket club.

Derbyshire born and bred Phil joined our team in 2015 after completing his time at Oak Hill. Before going into the ministry Phil plied his trade as a primary school teacher in Derby.
He is married to Ruth, whom he met whilst doing overseas work in Africa, and they have three young children, Esther, Joel, and Lydia.
When not working, Phil passionately supports his boyhood club, the mighty Derby County.
Kate Aug 2018   Robyn Aug 2018
Kate Smith : Administrator   Robyn Southall : Ministry Trainee

Our 'go to' for all things admin, Kate has been in the role since 2012, but did spend time here as a ministry trainee from 2008 to 2010. Alongside her role as administrator, Kate also helps with Ignite, our group for those aged 14-18.

Kate has been married to Mike since 2013. Outside of work Kate enjoys pilates, cake, Earl Grey tea, and has a passionate love of Dachshunds.

Joining us as Ministry Trainee in September 2018, Robyn has recently graduated from Reading University (as well as getting married, moving house and starting a new job!).

She loves all things crafty, especially crochet; running and being outdoors when it's not too cold (so about 5 days a year in Buxton!); and all things wintery: the joys of Christmas markets, snow (just as well living in Buxton), candles, fairy lights and cosy jumpers (the latter a necessity for Buxton winters!).

Graham Todd : Church Warden

Nigel Reid : Church Warden

Graham began his role as Church Warden in June 2018.
Graham and his family have lived in Buxton since 2004.

When not running round after his 4 children, Graham is a GP; is involved in training, teaching and mentoring other GPs, as well as being chair of Choices Counselling, a pregnancy counselling service based in Buxton.

Graham enjoys playing table tennis, hiking, the odd pint and most Marvel Comic films.

Nigel began his role as Church Warden in June 2017.

Nigel, a confirmed southerner, headed to Chapel-en-le-Frith from Portsmouth in 2015 with his wife, Helen, and parents, David and Joyce, after his four daughters all migrated to the North after they left university.

He has worked in the IT industry for more than 40 years and enjoys for relaxation performing major DIY projects on his long suffering house and family as well as trying to fix all the leaky bits of our church building! He has been lovingly referred to as ‘The Mad Professor’ by his wife!
